I collected my Sundown Marathon race pack yesterday morning which was held at the Singapore Expo. We were there as early as 10:30am thinking we were too early only to find out there was already long queue outside waiting for the 11am start.
There was a few minutes delay in the start of the collection due to some technical glitch but after that everything was pretty smooth.

The RunBikeSwim Expo was held in conjunction with the race pack collection. After I got my race pack we went to check the different booths of the participating exhibitors. Most of them were offering discounts that I couldn’t resist myself from buying. 2XU was offering the women’s compression shorts for only S$89 down from S$130. Sing Phil Enterprises which distributes SL3S and Feetures! Performance Socks was also offering 25% discount.There were also plenty of enery gels to choose from at discounted prices. A GU energy gel which normally costs S$3.95 was only sold at S$2.50 per gel.
The expo was certainly a good time to shop for running/biking apparels, shoes, accessories and energy gels/bar. One can also register for the Newton Run Challenge and Great Eastern Women’s Run at a discounted price available only during the Expo period which ends today, 13 May 2012.
